2007 NEW STUDY COMPARES MEDICAL AND CHIROPRACTIC CARE FOR LOW BACK PAIN: CHIROPRACTIC BETTER ACROSS THE BOARDS!
Almost everyone in America suffers from low back pain at one time or another and each know how incapacitating the pain can be. A recent study has just shown that Chiropractic provides more improvement in pain and return function for chronic low back pain over the most common types of medical care. The study followed the results of 93 Chiropractic patients and 45 medical patients with chronic, recurrent low back pain. Chiropractic treatment included spinal manipulation and other forms of treatment commonly used by chiropractors. The average number of visits to chiropractors by this group: 4. The
medical treatments often involved the prescription of anti-inflammatory
agents; patients average one visit each to family medical facilities.
